GOP Seniors’ Health Care Bill Of Rights

-PROTECT MEDICARE AND NOT CUT IT IN THE NAME OF HEALTH CARE REFORM AHaHaHaHa….check it out, republicans are the “defenders” of Medicare…a Government insurance program passed by liberals, and opposed by republicans

-PREVENT GOVERNMENT FROM INTERFERING WITH END-OF-LIFE CARE DISCUSSIONS: Is this what the Republican Party is reduced to? Death panels and Hip-Hop outreach programs? Is this even a real political party anymore?

-ENSURE SENIORS CAN KEEP THEIR CURRENT COVERAGE: So Republicans think Medicare is a excellent program now. Great, let’s let everyone who want is, buy into Medicare

-PROTECT VETERANS BY PRESERVING TRICARE AND OTHER BENEFIT PROGRAMS FOR MILITARY FAMILIES ROFLMAO! Republicans singing the praises of another government insurance program – Tricare.

Man, when did Republicans become such fans of our high-performing government insurance programs? When did they suddenly agree with liberals, that Medicare and Tricare are superior and excellent insurance programs? And when are they simply going to offer these excellent programs to any American who wants to buy into them?

many republicans are for reform or expanding medicare....they just don't approve of obama's plan and you dishonestly state that means they don't care about any government insurance....

yep the republicans plans just benefit the corporations involved more than the people.

as I recall, the original proposal was to provide some assistance for low income seniors and their prescription costs......the terms of the current act was dictated by the Democrats in order to get their support in Congress...that's why instead of helping low income people we presently have a plan that subsidizes folks earning up to $120k a year.....

sort of like the current health plan....the libs claim their motivation is helping the poor, yet it seems the final product leaves the poor behind.....who is it really benefiting?.......

With no bargaining on Presc drug discounts and a big "doughnut hole" that bites low income butts.

You all forget that the prescription drug benefit was removed from Medicare under a Republican president?
And was brought back under another one in a more pharma friendly format.
