Jan. 6 panel will reveal new information on the attack, Cheney says

The House panel investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol will reveal new details and may make new recommendations on legislation and criminal penalties for officials who failed to carry out their duties, said Rep. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo.


“I have not learned a single thing since I have been on this committee that has made me less concerned or less worried about the gravity of the situation and the actions that President Trump took and also refused to take when the attack was underway," she said.

There has been a ton of work going on rather quietly. It's not all headline material.

While we see everything related to the continued obstruction by trump's inner circle, there have been hundreds of staffers who have illustrated exactly what happened that day.


The House committee knows exactly what happened, and who did it. All they want from the obstructionists is the word from the collective 'horse's mouth'.

I'm betting that the freshmen Qanon nutters who had just won their districts have staffers that have admitted to their complicity in the Jan. 6 attack. The terrorists seemed to know exactly how to navigate the maze that is the Capitol building.

trump's prayers were answered the moment Putin invaded Ukraine. His crimes are no longer dominating the news cycles...something he's a master at manipulating.
