On Trump's side, the record consists of Trump's refusal to concede which continues to this day accompanied by claims the election was stolen from him, numerous challenged certifications in the Electoral College including failed law suits and a mob assault on the Congress in a failed effort to disrupt its certification, Trump's childish refusal to greet the new President at the White House and instead flying off to his getaway resort the day before inauguration.

The post did not claim Democrats did not do everything they could to destroy Trump. It said, correctly, that Democrats did not challenge the certifications to the Electoral College. I don’t hate either the far left or far right. I find their beliefs to be extremist at worst and misguided at best.

My issue with the far left is their form of progressivism based on post modernist philosophy. Even then I have no problems with post modernism in the arts and humanities where personal perception is reality.

In the world of empirical, fact based, reality post modernism is simply flat out wrong. Facts and reality do exist independently from the observer.

In this manner I find that post modernist progressives have a whole lot in common with conservative evangelical Christians.

I’ll provide a very good example. Creationism and Gender. In both cases when either are confronted by the cold hard empirical facts of biology, which proves them wrong, they first attack the science and the scientist. When that fails in face of the facts, they then try to legitimize their beliefs by changing the definition of science. Which doesn’t fly either.

Now when it comes to conservative evangelicals most people blow them off for what they are. The willfully ignorant.

Since the post modernist progressives are far fewer in numbers but are concentrated within the Ivory Towers of academia they are a more immediate threat to science than conservative Christians are.

So it simply boils down to post modernism is incompatible with disciplines based on empirical fact based evidence and reality.

Ergo my opinion of the progressive post modernist faction is that they have a few good ideas and a crap load of really bad one.
