Why you can't draw great conclusions from the Ukraine videos.

no. we had it secured for 18 months with many less
Biden put 4k back into Kabul after taking them out

Hmmmmm...refresh my memory: were the circumstances the same at the end as they were the 18 months prior?

We needed 5,000+ to secure Bagram, per the Pentagon. We likely lose many more than 13. In war, everything is a bad choice.

I know what the Pentagon said it's bullshit. The proof is we had a secure Bagram with only 2500 in country.
And the Pentagon is counting contractors in that 5k

Securing a base is relatively easy with it's hard perimeter, if we used air as well
which is what Bagram is (AF base)

You seem to be absolutely oblivious to the deal Trump made with the Taliban.

Okay, sure. I'll take your word for it over people who do this 24x7 and are primarily accountable for keeping our troops out of harm's way.

We could have secured Bagram, kept more soldiers there, and had more casualties - and you'd still blame Biden. He got us out of a war, and that kind of decision & action is seldom "neat."

no you're knee jerk mind notwithstanding about "having more casualties" is your delusion

anyone can order up a rout if that is your definition of getting out of the war

I already said the Pentagon counted contractors - which biden pulled out and kept the ANAF grounded

You do not have a fucking clue as to what really happened.

... And you're a Far Left loon. We don't need or want your type infecting our Party but thanks for voting for us.

Your weakness is showing.

political timetable
getting military out before civilians
grounding the ANAF
using a public airport instead of a military installation to Evac
Keeping the Embassy secure instead of puling out diplomatic staff

it's a loong list

Neither do you. It was a terrorist act at the end. That could have happened anywhere - we shouldn't have even been in Afghanistan.
WTF does that have to do with the FUBAR evac?

Do you even understand how the Haqqani got that close to detonate?

and all Biden had to do was take operational control of Kabul - that the Taliban offered after screwing up the choice of not using Bagram

It's generally pretty easy to armchair QB a volatile situation.

Yeah, we shouldn't have been there, but Biden kept us there..his plan was to make 9/11 the official withdrawal date.

Did Biden's plans work out? Did people get killed as a result of his plans?

FYI: Trump make a deal with the Taliban to have everyone out by 5/1/2021. The Taliban stuck to their end of the deal and so did Trump..then along comes derpa-derp Biden..

Who in his arrogance got people killed unnecessarily.

Agreed it was a terrorist act. Still, the evacuation was poorly planned and poorly supported. The fucking Russians will do a better job getting out of Ukraine.
