I'm interested in how Obama "caused the problem" and what "problem" in particular you are talking about.

One the one hand, it is indisputable that Obama, through the stimulus bill, increased the deficit through spending. But the new projections that show a "deficit worse that previously stated" show a deficit worse than previously state due to decreased revenues, not spending. How is Obama responsible for decreased revenues? Are you advocating for tax increases to increase revenues? If not, what is it that you propose?

As for unemployment, I'm entirely at a loss to understand how Obama is responsible for increased unemployment but I'm open to being convinced. Give it a shot.

Well, maybe it would have been more accurate to say his party and their policys created the problem(can you say Barney Frank) and he did practically nothing to solve the problems of unemployment and runaway spending....his stimulus plan is a joke and his bailouts did nothing but raise our debt .... and his threats to spend even more with healthcare welfare are causing the dollar to tank even worst than it would have.....
I can't solve the problem, I'm not an economist or a banker or rich....and thats is not my purpose in making this post....
I just find his announcement laughable...

what specifically is his fault was the question....since obama is apparently innocent....how is bush at fault for both "recessions"....given one happened about this time....and you guys now say it is not obama, but want to blame bush for the same time period
