oh man not that again.
Look i was alive and very aware and was as active as possible in the anti-war movement for my age

I knew a lot of vets and read the reports,and it happened, but it didn't happen to anyone I knew
or saw first hand reports
The story line just was so easy to use to go after the anti-war movement

Maybe i was better off skipping this one

Not you specifically. It's just what I read. If the reports are fake or exaggerated, then that would be my bad.

Doesn't change the fact that many vets had PTSD.

I wasn't criticizing you. it's a common meme that smeared the movement and was effective.
PTSD is very common.
I hung out with a black vet for awhile that lived with no running water and would not sleep inside
Thank Great Buddha I missed that meatgrinder,
but it wiped out a bunch of good men physically and mental;y

It may be a common meme but I've always hated it when they pin it on the leftists/liberals/Democrats. That one I will never understand.

But yeah those soldiers never came back the same. Very damaged.

ya well Democrats were liberals back then.
anti-war / free speech/ not so much now with the Prog takeover of their party.

Most people can suppress horrible experiences to an extent without PTSD
i think the fact it was war lets most vets compartmentalize - but many could not as well

Nothing, so no gas, no driver, no food, no guards? This Texas doesn’t want tax dollars wasted that way when we need a new grid. He’s already wasting money on the stupid antic of the Nat’l Guard at the border.

In my opinion, equal protection of our own laws could help solve that social problem via market friendly means since we subscribe to Capitalism and have a Commerce Clause. Why is there any reticence at all to bear true witness to our own laws on the part of the right-wing?

State law doesn't apply as soon as the bus leaves Texas. Once the bus leaves Texas those transporting people are violating Federal kidnapping laws if they hold anyone against their will and take them across state lines.
