whether it is technically legal or not, 38 year old men should not be trying to date 16, 17, 18 year old high school juniors and seniors.

Absolutely. Women shouldn't either. I don't get being physically attracted to anyone young enough to be your child. It's gross.
I can understand women admiring the bodies of adult football players or male ballet dancers who are half their age.

I have some bad news for you...Conservatism has never been decent or honorable.

I can understand child brides in primitive civilizations, but it is time for the world to move past it. Republicans want to take us back to the stone age.
These child brides do not have legal rights to get divorced without their guardian/husband's permission. It is just bizarre.
A responsible adult should be able to wait until the girl is an adult. It is only a few years.
