I said it CAN take years. Depending on the organization and where someone was drafted, they often ease QB's into the game. Haskins didn't really get a chance yet.
Sorry that disrupts the narrative. But again: he made the NFL. That's a pretty strong accomplishment, and means he was better than roughly 99.9% of the football players in the country.
