Gov. Greg Abbott is pressing forward with his plan to bus migrants out of the state despite questions about his legal authority to do so.

Abbott signed a letter this week directing the Texas Division of Emergency Management to bus migrants released from federal custody in border cities to Washington D.C., if the migrants voluntarily agree.

Buses were already headed to an undisclosed location at the Texas border on Thursday, according to the agency.

“TDEM has dispatched buses to Texas’ border region to respond to requests from local officials that have identified migrants released by federal officials within their communities,” said Seth Christensen, a TDEM spokesman.

There is no express Immigration clause in our federal Constitution. Right-wingers only prove their falseness regarding adoring Capitalism in socialism threads. We should be using the social power to promote and provide for the general welfare not the general malfare.

Our Commerce Clause is express not implied in any way. Right-wingers don't care about Capitalism like they allege in socialism threads. They only Care about their socialism on a national or international basis.

Why do political extremists always insist the Constitution gives Americans their rights? The Constitution doesn't expressly give you the right to have a computer either.

Socialism doesn't work as a stand alone system above the village/tribal level. All those that have tried have seen how absolute power corrupts absolutely.
