Mike Lindell admits to crime while insulting reporter

Sounds to me like it's a very good law. Would you want me giving an election official in YOUR precinct some cash, hoping that he/she would toss out ballots for the (R) candidate in exchange?

Dark Soul is a lying piece of shit who supports corruption in government as long as it's for the RW Authoritarians.

You're right, it was a donation for her legal defense. Again, I don't what the problem is.

Because it's against the fucking law, idiot. How come all white supremacist authoritarian shitbirds keep wanting to shred the 9th and 10th Amendments?

As I originally stated, a law against contributing towards someone's legal defense is dumb. :rofl2:

As an public employee she is not allowed to accept gifts or cash valued at more than $65 unless it is from family/friends. The $800,000 violates that state law. It seems that both the giver and the recipient have violated CO state law.

I think the issue here is personal gift vs. grant specified for legal defense. I agree that gifts to public employees should be restricted. However it should be perfectly legal to contribute to anyone's legal defense fund. I have a hard time believing that Lindel didn't make the contribution to a fund set up by her attorney, specified to its intended use. Methinks this controversy is made up; typical misinformation by a liberal media with the obvious attention to smear conservatives.

MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell says he gave $800K to Mesa County Clerk Tina Peters' defense fund, a violation of Colorado law

The asshole admits he gave and elections person who is being investigated for messing with election equipment to steal the information on them 800,000 dollars for her defense

He calls the reporter an idiot for asking

Then he admits clearly that he never met her

And calls the reporter stupid for asking that question

It’s illegal to give more than 65 dollars to them unless you know them

He just admitted he committed an 800,000 dollar crime

The largest of its type in Colorado history

Here read this while I go get the law

Illegal Sarah Palin defense fund must give back donations

"ANCHORAGE (Reuters) - A legal defense fund for former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was illegal and must repay nearly $400,000 to donors, according to a settlement with a state-appointed lawyer announced on Thursday."

Oh yes, of course it must be liberals' fault, somehow, someway.

Mesa County clerk's legal defense fund could violate Colorado ethics rules, experts say

"A legal defense fund established by a Colorado county clerk to fight possible criminal charges related to a series of election equipment data breaches could run afoul of the state constitutional gift ban, according to an expert on Colorado's ethics amendment."

Did you read the link about the Palin case? Because it supports my position that there is no problem donating to a legal defense fund. Palin was given bad advice and set it up improperly.
