Texas Woman, 26, Charged with Murder for Alleged Self-Induced Abortion

why do you feel the need to be a sick fuck?.....

Not for the same reason you call people you don't like Demmycunts. Is that only when you are shitfaced or when cheating on your fourth wife with your third wife?

Here's an exact quote, and also something for you to think about, anyone can search, Mr. High and Mighty who is really the antithesis of Christianity.*

gosh, if he hates liars I wonder how he feels about people who lie AND kill children........

Are you implying that you don't believe God or Jesus stand for truth? Do you believe that any opposition to truth, such as people spreading lies or otherwise deceiving people for personal gain, are the antithesis of Godliness?

Do you really believe, as I do, that God is all knowing, all powerful and all merciful, PostmodernProphet?

Which god? we recognize over 3000 religions in America. What a break it was for you to be born in the right one.

The Abrahamic God same as the Jews and the Muslims. All the US Christians use the same Bible.

What religion do you think I was born into, Nordberg, and what makes you think I believe it's "the right one"?

Sorry, but all Bibles are not the same. The Catholic Bible has extra books the Protestant Bibles do not contain, and certain translations change the meaning of some of the Bibles.

Muslims and Jews do not believe in the Trinity, so even though it is suppose to be the same God, it really isn’t.

Minor differences. Translations of the same set of books doesn't change the nature of God. God is. What man sees varies.

Your belief, one I do not share. The differences aren’t so minor when wars have been fought over it.

Was the Iraq War to stop Saddam's WMDs or to "Free those people"? Or was it a pretense to plant the American flag in the heart of the Mid-East oil country?

Most wars where religion is involved is more about geography and/or resources where religion was the pretense for going to war.

Consider the Crusades or "the Troubles" in Ireland. Purely religious? Mainly religious? Mostly about controlling geography with religion as the motivator for the stupid common citizens?

Bumped for Pmp who seems to have gotten lost in the 5th Circle of Hell while looking for the 7th Circle:

It will be punishment enough for her to have to live with the knowledge that she purposefully took the life of her child...that's a life long sentence....

If it is one of God's sins- God will punish her.

The governor and his henchmen do not need to interfere in God's work!

Thanks!

I wonder what's the difference in the Reichwing "mind" between a god/Mother Nature causing miscarriages, and a person taking medicine to abort, or having a procedure? Most missed ABs are due to a malformed fetus and they often happen before mom even knows she's pregnant. Maybe Texas should consider locking their god up.

It is the law of the land in Texas. Doesnt matter what our opinions are. Hidey hidey hidey ho.....to prison she will go. :)

And if they ever pass a law that makes your penis liable for an unwanted pregnancy that became an abortion, the banshee wail from you and your brethren will heard on the moon! Then, you'll have a political push for the morning after pill to be treated like selling beer.

But folk with the Christo-fascist mindset won't have to worry, because as usual it's the woman's fault, right? :palm:

And another thing; how many weeks was this woman pregnant? Christian evangelical zealots all swear that human life is at the moment of conception...yet they deny people access to the medication that prevents conception. Anyone who's done the least amount of research knows that under 8 months produces a premature child, which has to be kept alive by all types of heroic medical means and runs the greater risk of developmental defects.

So without artificial means, these "children" that the religious zealots swear are being killed in general on any abortion would not exist. Yet again, they deny ANY type of medical technology to prevent an unwanted pregnancy (I remember a Pope declaring that contraception is a sin. Yep, celibate men who aided and abetted pedophiles and predators decree that God is pissed about condoms and such. ). UNREAL.

And here's a thought....shouldn't this woman sue the hospital for breach of doctor/patient confidentiality? The article says someone blew the whistle on her. Does Texas throw such confidentiality out the window for religious zealotry?

And why isn't the guy who knocked her up held accountable for an unwanted pregnancy? What's his story?

As usual, religious zealotry combined with political ambition doesn't entertain such obvious questions.

Pretty amazing that 45% of women have had two or more abortions, what's going on there?

We found that 45% of patients reported having one or more prior abortions. Age was most strongly associated with this outcome, and patients aged 30 and older had more than two times the odds of having had a prior abortion compared with those aged 20–24. Other characteristics associated with an increased likelihood of prior abortion included having one or more children, being black, relying on insurance or financial assistance to pay for the procedure, and exposure to disruptive events in the last 12 months. Characteristics associated with a decreased likelihood of having a prior abortion included having a college degree and living 25 or more miles from the facility where the current abortion was obtained.

Conclusions: Age is the biggest risk factor for having had a prior abortion; the longer a woman has been alive, the longer she is at risk of unintended pregnancy. Some characteristics associated with prior abortion were beyond the control of the individuals experiencing them.

Over a lifetime? Not bad. How many things haven't you done at least once? I once outran the cops and have driven dangerously drunk a few times. All younger than 25.
