I don't think they would be dumb enough to come out and say that. But they certainly intend to do that. In Arizona, Republicans proposed a change to the election process in which the legislature would review the results of the election and decide whether to accept it. In Georgia, their new law allows the state to take over local elections and remove local election officials. They have already begun doing exactly that in, what a shocker, Fulton County. Massive purges of voting roles is also taking place in Georgia. And of course, every state has a certification process, and there is a massive effort underway to plant Trump supporters in those certification positions. Many of those people are full out QAnon types that would not have certified legitimate election results. This is a slow motion coup and no one is doing a thing about it. Which is why I believe that Trump will be installed as President in 2024. The end.

Arizona has their share of loons, but simply proposing bad ideas isn't taking away voting rights. The plan you referenced was shot dead before it even had a chance. The questions about Georgia, the voting messes in some counties and whether or not the state should intervene, also isn't taking away voting rights. Trump supporters, even the most crazy, being put in positions of power, isn't going to give them the authority to do anything of significance. We have state legislatures and courts to ensure that bad ideas aren't allowed to continue and crazy, QAnon types can't make drastic changes - just look at all of the rolling-back of changes related to the 2020 election that have been deemed as unconstitutional.
They are making the proposals. I no longer trust state legislatures or courts to stop this. When we have a SCOTUS justice who is married to a QAnon nut and refuses to recuse, the court cannot be trusted to do the right thing. And they may not have the power to stop it. States have the absolute right to pick their electors in any manner they see fit. And that's what they are doing. We love to think it can't happen here, but of course it can. It only requires complacency, and that's what we have.

They change their precinct at the last second and the voter goes to the wrong precinct. Now they have placed people in the voter offices with specific instructions to cheat.

I guess I'm not as pessimistic as you. I had to hear from the Right, leading up to Obama's election, how he was going to destroy the country. Then I had to hear from Democrats about how Trump was going to destroy the country, put gays in cages, etc. Then I had to hear from the Right that Biden was going to give free healthcare to 23 million illegals, take away all of our guns, etc. The people, IMO, who are destroying the country, are the fringes of both parties who's ideas are creeping more and more toward the sane center and people who fan the flames of panic.

Given that most states don't permit the forwarding of absentee/mail-in ballots, I don't see a huge reason for concern here.
I don't remember supporters of Hilary Clinton attacking the capitol. Maybe I missed it. Trump has materially altered the political landscape. It is now okay to commit treasonous acts. I've voted for Democrats, Republicans and independents. At this point, I wouldn't vote for a Republican for dog catcher. They are all members of a morally corrupt party. It is what it is. I believe they are going to have their way. I have never seen anything like this in our country. We are not debating ideas or policy. It is now a culture war.

The unfortunate part is that so many people have bought into the broad-brush demonizing, hyperbole and rhetoric that they're exposed to on the internet and cable news. Many Republicans actually believe that the FBI is an arm of the Democratic party. Many Democrats actually believe that Trump colluded with Russia to interfere with the election, despite the fact that the Mueller Report made it clear that he, and people around him, were only duped, but never knowingly colluded.
This happens because so many people take no time to actually seek out information outside of their highly biased sources.

It isn't a broad brush. If you belong to a party whose platform consists only of a loyalty pledge to traitor, I won't support any of them. Period. I am painting the party. The individuals should know better.

If they weren't knowingly working with Russia, then there is no crime. Collusion/Conspiracy literally means that you are knowingly doing something. That's not my opinion - it's the definition of the crime.
The one crime he likely did commit was obstruction, but that's not nearly as exciting to Democrats as pee stories and Mother Russia.
So why do you suppose Trump wanted to obstruct the investigation? Seriously. An innocent person doesn't obstruct an investigation.

Trump is a moron. Morons do dumb things. He hated Democrats, hated that he was being investigated, he hated that Comey didn't go after Hillary and wanted to make it as hard as possible. We shouldn't assume he, or his people, are guilty. Again, the Mueller Report lays it out very clearly - Trump and his people did not knowingly collude with Russia to interfere in the election. If the Mueller Report said, directly, the he did collude, would you question that or are you only questioning this because it's not what you want to believe?
You can call it whatever you want. The Mueller report clearly states that the Russians were attempting to help the Trump campaign and the campaign willingly accepted that help. It also lays out very clearly that Trump committed criminal obstruction of Justice on numerous occasions. Those are facts. I present them with no commentary. Draw your own conclusions about what happened. The Republican party, knowing this to be true, passed a 'platform' with no policy proposals. Only a loyalty pledge to a man who committed crimes while in office. Why would I support anyone that claims to be a member of that party? Answer: I wouldn't. Republicans SHOULD have been punished heavily for their moral failings. They weren't. They have doubled down on them.

While 2,500 armed terrorists is a substantial number, they're a mere fraction of Americans willing to put their lives and their family's lives on the line for a fantasy. Using 74M, 2,500 is 0.00337% of Trump voters.
The percentage of JPP Trump voters who assisted the attack is ZERO. Nada. Zip. 0.0% Not a fucking one.

No doubt that the Trump campaign was quite happy to have Russia helping his cause. That's not collusion/conspiracy.
The current administration has every opportunity to bring obstruction charges against Trump, but has chosen not to. Mueller made it clear that he was not going to bring charges or make definitive statements on whether or not he thought Trump colluded. But, at this point, if you believe that Trump colluded, then it's not based on the facts of the Mueller investigation.
