B) Bring back State Mental Institutions

C) Allow parents to discipline their children reasonably.

D) Bring God back to the forefront of American life.


Don't shut God out of public schools.

The founders were not against God being allowed in schools. I own a New England Primer from the 20s, it belonged to a relative of mine.

Up until LBJ that's the way children were educated in America.
 
I'd probably disagree that religion is the answer. We just had another major church abuse scandal break this week. I hate to characterize all religion using that - but they're not isolated incidents. There is something wrong w/ the church, and organized religion has been as much a force for evil as it is for good.

But I agree our morality and values are going down the tubes. Honesty, the internet - which we all love for various things - is probably as much to blame as anything. We really don't know the full extent; we're just ending the 1st generation who have been completely immersed in it.

It's all just bad right now. People are desensitized, and our whole discourse is in the gutter. We either find our way back, or the end is nigh.

Worship is a choice and should never be forced.

What about the Mental Hospitals? Discipline of children?

There's a difference between forced worship and allowing God into the schools.
