There is no question that if guns like the AR15 were made illegal or restricted 20 yrs ago those 19 kids would be alive right now. Assholes who say there are too many guns so lets's do nothing are narrow minded fools. How about in 50 years? Countries that do not allow guns don't have the murders we do and those who restrict them have far fewer. The assholes who say guns make us safer are complete morons. If that were true we would be the safest country on the planet and we aren't. We have had 3 mass shootings in the last 2 weeks.

I just read the other day that a child was waiting in the car while his mom ran into the store to pick something up. The kid found her gun in the car and she returned to find he had blown his brains out. That is a mental health issue too, the mom's mental health. It's always a mental health issue. it's a sorry fucking excuse to blame mental health issues on gun deaths, get the fucking guns out of the hands of those with mental health issues and you solve the problem. It's the ONLY way to solve the problem.
Those with mental health issues that don't have a gun don't commit mass murders. Those that have them and a gun do commit them so it is obviously not just mental health but a mental health issues plus a gun. If you don't address both you don't solve the problem. Saying it's a mental health issue and the gun has nothing to do with it is fucking stupid.

Republicans don't think it is a problem, they recently passed a constitutional carry law in Texas and say Ramos was perfectly within his rights to buy 2 AR 15's inside of 4 days. I hope they are proud of themselves. How anyone can vote for one is beyond me.

I strongly doubt we'll ever be able to eliminate human error. Airline pilots are strictly regulated and exceptionally trained yet they still fly into the ground.
