why is the clinton campaign dictating findings and case status to the fbi?
Apparently they were, according to their press release. They could have said "sorry, no, we're not sure a crime occurred, so we'll just refer to there being media reports about a crime." But, instead, they saw their error pointed out and agreed that they were aware of the crime and said as much in their press release. And now the little right-wing snowflakes are melting down because the error didn't go out in the release.

The FBI investigation was into who hacked the DCCC. That would mean the investigation was regarding the DCCC and the hack of their computers.
Your statement was:

Unless you are claiming that Trump or the GOP in some way hacked the DCCC then there is no way to claim the investigation was about an opponent of Hillary.

Their press release says otherwise. Once the error in their press release was brought to their attention, they corrected it. They had every chance to push back and insist they weren't sure a crime had been committed, but instead they adopted the suggestion. And that makes sense. You and I both know there was a hack. Everyone does. That was never honestly in doubt.

The fake suspect? It would seem they were the actual culprit based on evidence.
No one has said that Trump hacked the DCCC. What is known for sure is people with the Trump campaign were privy to the fact that hack had occurred and the emails were going to be released before they were actually released.
How do you think those people knew about the hack and the coming release? Are they providing you with the lottery numbers for this week?
