Political Theater

I didn't say they committed a crime beforehand...
Yes you did, liar.
I said they were spreading the Big Lie
You can't make the evidence disappear by putting a slogan on it, dude.
and clearly defending Trump no matter what and denying what happened on Jan 6th at all costs
What happened on Jan 6th is not what Democrats are saying what happened on Jan 6th.
so what purpose would it serve to put them on the committee?
Bigotry. Witch! Witch!
You and I both know all they would do is corrupt the whole process and ensure it was a failure. I mean you all want it to be a failure anyhow, right, so why are you complaining if you are already insisting it's a failure?
Witch Hunt Trials are worth complaining about.

Bigotry. Discard of the Constitution.

That's what I've said. If this is hurting the Dems then why are Republicans so upset about it and spending SOOOO FUCKING MUCH TIME insisting nobody cares? Clearly somebody cares and they care a hell of a lot.

you're so right.

keep being crazy totalitarians. people love that shit.

:evilnod:

Its so funny how they don't think we don't see through them. It's what trumptards do.. the facts are against them, so they yell, scream, point, insult, delflect, gas light, and put up strawman.

It's the song of the morally bankrupt.

Learn what 'fact' means. Opinions are not facts.

It's frustrating that nobody pushes the issue. I get that as a Constitutional matter he can always plead the fifth -- implicitly admitting that he did something illegal and that telling the truth about his actions would incriminate him. That's fine. But he should be forced to make that plea, rather than being allowed to simply decline an invitation. And that goes back to the Mueller "investigation," at least. It's utterly fucking insane that Mueller was tasks with looking into Trump campaign complicity with Russia's election interference, and he couldn't be bothered to even try to make the main conspirator answer a single question under oath. Everyone acts like it's a national priority to make sure Trump never has to testify under oath, or even to plead the fifth. I get why his lawyer is trying to protect him from himself, but why are others doing so?

It's not like this is normal. Like even when it's something utterly trivial, like Hillary Clinton's decision to use a private email server for work, we have sworn testimony in front of Congress. Even Ronald Reagan testified about the Iran/Contra criminal conspiracy (even if he mostly just answered "I can't recall.") But Trump is treated as if he were a king, who had to be regarded as inherently immune to questioning.

He is immune to questioning.

It is frustrating. Both Clintons were called before congress and testified. The difference is, neither had anything to hide, they did nothing wrong, but that didn't stop the Republican Taliban from trying to dig up dirt.

I know Bill was impeached, but what he was impeached for had nothing to do with how he governed. Also, he was acquitted.

Finally, a congressional hearing is not like a courtroom proceeding. I know you're under oath, but I don't think you can take the 5th. All you can do what Bill Barr did and just pretend you don't understand the questions.

Bill was impeached for perjury...which describes pretty well how he governed.

Think about what you just claimed, AssHat.
Who wants to come here? People from even worse places. People from places that we're becoming more like.

You don't see many people from the EU nations in any hurry to come here.
Actually, they do.
They have a better standard of living than ours in all the important ways.
No.
They have socialized medicine.
Communism doesn't work.
They have accessible education.
Communism doesn't work.
They have more protection for workers and consumers.
Communism doesn't work.
Most of all, they don't glorify ignorance the way Middle America does.
Obviously, you have never traveled in Europe.
They visit here so we can entertain them with our weirdness.
The one thing that ties us all together, regardless of culture, background, religion, or anything...is that we're all crazy. --Dave Barry

This has been argued to no end. All I will add is read FBI director Comey's report to congress he lays out the findings. If you want to white wash his testimony in your liberal mind have a nut.

ROFLMAO. .So when did Comey charge Clinton with a crime?

Comey said there was not evidence to charge her with a crime and they could find no prior case where anyone had been indicted for actions similar to hers.

I am curious as to when you think Comey submitted a report to Congress. FBI directors don't give reports to Congress on people that weren't indicted. So please give us a link to this supposed report that you think he gave to Congress that lays out his findings. Comey testified. That is not a report.
