Cops have no constitutional duty to protect you

A lot of people imagine they could be a courageous hero.

Imagination and bluster are easy.

Just like a lot of "Second Amendment solutions" blowhards stayed home with their bang-bangs on Jan 6 rather than answer Trump's alarmist call that the republic was in grave danger.

In real time, in the fog of uncertainty, and not knowing any Intel about how many shooters were in the school building, I have serious doubts that any of the "good guys with guns" who post on this board would have
actually courageously rushed into the Uvalde school.
 
The right wing packed SCOTUS just decided no one will protect citizens in this nation


I guess they want the people to defund the police


Why would people vote money for a police force who will refuse to protect the tax payers?


What does the SCOTUS say is the job of the police?


Just arresting people after they kill a whole school full of kids


I guess the SCOTUS doesn’t believe in the good guy with a gun bit even if you PAY that person to protect you

The SCOTUS SAYS that person can just stand there and watch you get murdered
 
Once we put trump and his fellow Republican cohorts in prison



We need to invalidate a couple of justices and replace them

I'll wait for all the facts to come in before judging the cops in this. The media keeps spewing out false information which changes daily.
 
Should the police protect a child who is being raped by someone?


Or can they just say


Oh I couldn’t do anything



The guy had a gun and might have killed me

I think they knew right away that there was just one shooter...I think all this cover up is because the Uvalde police killed a couple of those kids...in fact, they may have killed most of the kids.
 
I am begining to believe this SCOTUS was packed this way by the Republican Party so they could destroy the foundations of our functioning society


Time to repair the court and purge the traitorous plants in the SCOTUS

That would be very easy to determine with forensics
 
Cops can come on the site of a crime and shoot randomly if they want



They don’t have to protect the innocents


Calling a cop may mean they shoot you if they want to

Not only did they decide that, but they also decided that if you live within 100 miles from a coast or national border, Border Patrol can bust down your door and assault you without a warrant.
