A party that nominated a Vice Presidential candidate who apparently thinks humans co-existed with dinosaurs.

the ignorance of the left regarding religion never ceases to amaze me......this comment would rank right next to "he believes in evolution, so Cypress apparently thinks his mother was an ape"......
 
In reading the intro I was saddened and embarrassed. Reading further, I'm outraged. Is it really possible that 61% of people in the U.S. reject the theory of evolution? Today, in the first decade of the 21st Century?

Even the Pope has stated publicly that there is no conflict between the bible and evolutionary theory; the latter, contrary to what many apparently believe, does not address the origin of life. Despite his keen insight, Darwin unfortunately chose "origin" in naming his work "The Origin of Species". Note, however, that this is not "The Origin of Life".

I'm skeptical about the numbers in the cited poll, though. I wonder whom they asked.

There are some on this site, Ice Prancer and TuTu to name but two.
