VERY FEW protesters in DC

Several conservative groups behind the march say that as many as 2 million people turned out to protest everything from Obama's proposed healthcare overhaul to the legitimacy of his election.

The crowd was much smaller.

A spokesman for the District of Columbia Fire Department made an estimate of 60,000 to 70,000 people.

A photo circulated among conservatives as proof of a larger crowd was revealed to be a fake.

The photo depicts a crowd stretching from the Capitol nearly to the Washington Monument. It was posted on several conservative blogs and Facebook pages, with notations that it was taken on Saturday.

There is no way it could have been taken Saturday because the National Museum of the American Indian is not there. The museum opened in 2004 on the east side of the Mall. It's not there, so the photo must have been taken before then.

Several bloggers who ran the photo have grudgingly corrected their errors.

I would have to say that you would have to be braindead to 1) think I was a preacher and 2) think I was Catholic, and 3) think I was a pedophile....yet, you keep making the same error, over and over.....

The 912 march was dissapointing. None of the old white geezers dropped dead during their hate show. They were mine if they had.
6 did die in accidents on the way home though, so it was not a total loss.

When millions of Americans protested the Iraq war, the media ignored it. 70,000 lunatics protest healthcare, they got hours of commentary. When a couple went to a Bush rally wearing anti-Bush t-shirts, they got arrested. Guys at Obama rallies openly carry guns and get interviews.
