Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser has requested that the D.C. National Guard be activated indefinitely to respond to migrant buses arriving in the district, according to reports.

The request also seeks permission to use the D.C. Armory, a multipurpose arena located east of the Capitol Building, as a processing center, as more than 150 buses traveling from Arizona and Texas have transported nearly 4,000 migrants to the nation’s capital over the past three months. Bowser and the D.C. Homeland Security and Emergency Management Agency initially sent letters to the Office of the Secretary of Defense in a letter on July 19 and to President Joe Biden on July 22. Neither letter has received an answer, according to NBC.

This mayor proudly let the world know DC was a sanctuary city. Well, they are arriving. As a Democrat she is all talk and now expects taxpayers to bail her out. Let the residents of DC who elected her pay for all this, no other taxpayer anywhere else.

Joke Biden in the end. He's the one that opened the border and is ultimately responsible for carrying out immigration law--which he is totally not doing in violation of his oath of office btw...

States like Arizona and Texas (rightly) don't want a bunch of illegal immigrants who are overwhelmingly stupid, illiterate, sickly, and largely useless piling in. They don't want these criminals (and all illegal entrants are criminals) taking up social-welfare benefits, burdening state and local government, consuming taxpayer dollars, or anything else. So, by their shipping them to locations like DC that have openly said they welcome illegals, they're doing their constituents a valuable service.
