we need the economy to recede sometimes. Bubbles need to be allowed to pop. America already consumed too much - and every time the one nation that consumes too much has to start cutting back, we refuse. we increase the money supply and do things to trigger for people to borrow and spend again. We borrow from the unborn - we borrow from third world countries and in both cases, what they get back is inflation.
So my plan is going to require people to tighten their belts and accept that our lower and middle class needs to be more in line with the rest of the world. The problem with this is none of your leaders get to buy votes anymore - and losers like you that are struggling refuse to struggle more - so you just keep demanding we do what we have been doing since 1971
How does that address spending? The reason the economy contracted is because spending contracted, so how does "making money sound" translate into increased spending? It doesn't because it's not a plan.
Recessions are caused by drops in spending...SPENDING...so how does "making money sound" increase spending?

Nothing in our economy happens "just because"...everything that happens in our economy are the result of choices we are making. Nothing happens for no reason. Everything in our economy happens for a reason. A recession happens because of a drop in spending. The best way to fight a recession isn't to cut spending, it's to INCREASE SPENDING thereby stimulating the economy.
Any answer other than "economic stimulus" is the wrong answer to the question of how do you fight a recession?
