I believe that is what they are investigating now, possible crimes Trump committed, inwhich he refused to cooperate even to exonerate his name.

Their “thoughts” don’t matter, but their actions do, if she lied to them as the poster above believes, can’t tell anyone leading up to an election that with a Committee monopolized by the likes of Jimmy Jordan and Trey Gowdy to name a few wouldn’t have been the first to “investigate” the possible crime of lying to Congress

In this case, Donald Trump is doing the only thing he can do- PLEAD THE 5th!

Because anything he could say now would surely lead to perjury charges OR further implicate himself to crimes he is being investigated for- should he tell the truth!

THE GOOD NEWS- THE STATE OF NEW YORK DOES NOT ACTUALLY NEED DONALD TRUMP'S TESTIMONY TO GET A CONVICTION FOR TAX FRAUD AND TAX EVASION!

His pleading the 5th, instead of answering the questions he is being asked, will play a role in how he will be sentenced for his crimes.

Instead of cooperating and a chance for a lighter sentence, that is all squashed now by his pleading the 5th, and will be reason enough for the judge to issue Trump the maximum sentence for his crimes.

Given that you have seen zero evidence, nothing, not one iota, which justified the subpoena, and which Trump has lost two appeals in Court with his army of attorneys to avoid, your dismissing it all as a “witch hunt” is absurd
