Trump supporters, fair question...

WASHINGTON, Aug 11 (Reuters) - U.S. federal agents were looking for documents relating to nuclear weapons when they searched former President Donald Trump's home in Florida this week, the Washington Post reported on Thursday.

It was not clear if such documents were recovered, the Post reported.

It looks like they did ask for them back. Then when he didn't give them back because they asked, they issued a subpoena for them. Then when he failed to respond to the subpoena as required by law they went to a judge and got a search warrant.

It would appear the problem is Trump since with previous POTUS, the returned the items without being subpoenaed and without needing a search warrant.

well we will find out out when and if DOJ publishes its justification of probable cause submitted to the judge.

When you said that Trump was NOT president when impeached the second time, I said you were wrong...that Trump WAS president when he was impeached the second time.

After some give and take, you finally acknowledged that he WAS indeed president when he was impeached. You did it in a mealy-mouthed way, so I suggested you should simply say that you were wrong.

All you are doing now is dramatically showing that you do not have the ethical wherewithal to say, "I was wrong."

It is not that hard to do. I've been wrong several times during discussions in these boards...and I've done it. I've seen many people who have done it.

But, I guess you Trump supporters are unable to do it...like Trump is unable to do it.

As I have been hoping for is that you would acknowledge that you were wrong when you said that Trump was a "non-president" when impeached the second time.

So perhaps you want me to ask, "Why are you unwilling to acknowledge you were wrong when you said that Trump was a non-president when impeached the second time?"

Hillary Clinton cooperated with the authorities on the matter. Trump attempted to defy thm.

He search was conducted because of that.
