The opinion piece is not an official editorial of the paper. Yet, another column saying the president, or ex-president, has to be above the law.

"The act of an attorney general of one party seeking to indict and convict a former and possibly future president of the other party is the ringing of a bell that cannot be unrung. It is guaranteed to be undertaken again, regardless of whether present and future accusations are justified."

How corrupt has our nation when someone can argue that crimes of an ex-President should be permitted?!

They recognize that what's good for the goose is good for the gander, and that the likelihood come November is the Republicans will control Congress meaning Joke Biden suddenly comes in for the kind of scrutiny Trump has been getting from the Democrats.

Trump organized a violent coup. He has to be punished.

The guy’s opinion is riddled with “what ifs”. And I disagree with his premise that it is guaranteed to be undertaken again.

Screw the “what ifs” and let the process run as it should. The evidence will be presented and Trump will have his opportunity to refute it. That’s the way it works.

You can bet that the FBI and DOJ did not take this thing lightly. They knew, going in, all the possible repercussions.

Only one thing is certain. Regardless of the outcome, either for or against Trump, in the eyes of his cult followers, he will always be innocent.

Do you believe reality is a function of political ideology? Are trees just a matter of political opinion?

Not on the Left, where you hail from. The Left believes what it wants to believe and thinks they can shape reality to fit that. It's why the Left always ends up failing.

It is part of the horrible idea of "too big to fail." Trump is too powerful...too wealthy...too big...to prosecute. Leave the upper class alone!

Move on to something relevant

By the "1/6 crowd"....are you referring to the group that Trump incited to storm the Capitol and try to overthrow our government?
