ACORN, on offense, sues filmmaker

ACORN, taking a break from its apology tour, said today that it's filing suit against James O'Keefe, Hannah Giles and Andrew Breitbart's Breitbart.com.

The complaint: "The video and audio footage was taken without the knowledge of Williams and/or Thompson and in violation of Maryland's Courts and Judicial Proceedings Code §§ 10-402(a) and 10-410, which requires two party consent to all electronic surveillance. Violation of the law is a felony, and entitles parties whose rights were violated to sue."

ACORN counsel Arthur Schwartz says in the release that the tapings were "clear violations of Maryland law that were intended to inflict maximum damage to the reputation of ACORN, the nation's largest grassroots organizer of low-income and minority Americans. Unfortunately they succeeded".


Lets see, the two kids exposed corruption that the MSM would not do, and what does this outstanding group do, file a lawsuit. Wonder how soon before der leader has them arrested on federal charges.
 
But in other good news....

The IRS has severed all ties with the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN. ACORN had participated in the IRS’s voluntary tax assistance program, helping low and moderate income people by providing free tax advice. The IRS said ARORN had provided help on roughly 25,000 tax returns to date.

Uh,huh. Obama trained ACORN when he was in Chicago and a lot of money passed hands when he was a presidential candidate. Please try to keep up. You are looking very foolish.
