Census worker hanged, body labelled "FED"..

:cof1:

Since your fellows were seen with weapons at presidential events and some of the ill-spelled placards at teabagger "protests" hinted at violence, I'm not surprised that a weak-minded Faux-tard or two has possibly acted out Beck's fantasy by murdering a "fed".

Cool, Glen Beck is a GOD!!! To think that someone watching his show on TV, would be convinced to kill a Census worker. What I want to know is why Glen is not telling them to take out the top liberals in charge. If your going to kill someone make it count.

dnc....what is the purpose of your trolling....to lie that glen beck said to kill someone, to lie about conservatives and the gop, to look like an idiot, to do what exactly?

AP source: Census worker hanged with 'fed' on body

By DEVLIN BARRETT and JEFFREY McMURRAY (AP) – 17 hours ago

WASHINGTON — The FBI is investigating the hanging death of a U.S. Census worker near a Kentucky cemetery, and a law enforcement official told The Associated Press the word 'fed" was scrawled on the dead man's chest.

The body of Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old part-time Census field worker and occasional teacher, was found Sept. 12 in a remote patch of the Daniel Boone National Forest in rural southeast Kentucky. The Census has suspended door-to-door interviews in rural Clay County, where the body was found, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Investigators are still trying to determine whether the death was a killing or a suicide, and if a killing, whether the motive was related to his government job or to anti-government sentiment.

Investigators have said little about the case. The law enforcement official, who was not authorized to discuss the case and requested anonymity, said Wednesday the man was found hanging from a tree and the word "fed" was written on the dead man's chest. The official did not say what type of instrument was used to write the word.

FBI spokesman David Beyer said the bureau is helping state police with the case.

"Our job is to determine if there was foul play involved — and that's part of the investigation — and if there was foul play involved, whether that is related to his employment as a census worker," said Beyer.

Conservatives have even more blood on their hands.

I saw this yesterday; think it's an AP article. It happened in an area of Kentucky where apparently the guy was warned about walking alone. The person who warned him said that the locals are highly suspicious and negative about anyone working for the federal government. The victim himself was reported to be a good, kind person, but hopelessly naive with the attitude that everyone was good. This was a secondary job for him.

Poor guy.

Yep, there is evil in the world. Conservatism taught me that.

And, seriously, it's retarded to go all through your life worrying about getting murdered. If you're going to die of something, it's not going to be murder. Especially if you don't live in America, because conservative policies vastly inflate the number of murders.

Don't spend much time in the 'hood do you WM?

I suspect misguided Patriots, lacking education due to crappy government schools. If they murdered the fed working on an non-enumerated program then they at least would have some justification.

In extremely violent parts of America the murder rate can get up to 80 per 100k (the most violent part of europe, in contrast, has a murder rate of about 7 per 100k). Still, you are a lot more likely to die of something else unless you're in a gang or a drug dealer.

The Discovery Channel just did a two part series on gangs in Oakland (the best part being it was right near my high school, glad I didn't piss off any locals) and yeah it you live that life your chances of death by violence are high. The unfortunate part is people who live in those communities but are trying to do right are also subjective to the random violence. So yeah, if you're not in an inner-city chances are murder isn't going to get you. But for those that do violence is an unfortunate way of life.

Yeah I can imagine with 80 per 100k each year, over 80 years of a normal human life, it would be a significant cause of death. Especially amongst young people, where I imagine it could rise above accidents to #1 cause of death.

I guess I just don't fear violence that much because I live in the most rural place you can imagine, in a community college town.

Kentucky state police said that a census field worker who was found hanging from a tree near a cemetery in rural southeast Kentucky this month died of asphyxiation. The body of the man, Bill Sparkman, a 51-year-old part-time census field worker, was found Sept. 12 in a remote patch of the Daniel Boone National Forest. The state police said that Mr. Sparkman was found with a rope around his neck that was tied to a tree, but that he was “in contact with the ground.” The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating whether Mr. Sparkman was a victim of antigovernment sentiment. The authorities have not determined if it was an accidental death, suicide or homicide.

I am going with suicide, those boys in the south know how to string up a person.
