Nation is divided like time of Civil War.

If Trump had been successful in overturning the last election, you would have had a hot civil war?!! 81 million people would not stand for their votes not counting?!! I rather see the fall and the end of this country before it embraces fascism, white supremacy, and Christian nationalism?!!

There are no 81 million, 'Tard. The 74 million that voted for Trump is more than voted for Biden by a longshot. Everything over however many Democrats voted for Biden that Trump soundly beat is lies and fabricated.

No fascism or white supremacy either, I'll give ya the last, just because I'd like to see it, even though Trump wouldn't do that in the spirit of keeping the country the way the Founding Fathers did.

I don't debate things that have no consequence.

What the hell makes you think that the 600,000 people of Wyoming being represented in the US Senate by two Senators and the 40,000,000 people of California being represented by just two Senators also...

...has no consequences?

The "consequences" are enormous.

To their credit, the founders made the constitution amendable.
But it is really amendable? You know the processes required.
In a nation as polarized as ours, can you imagine the consensus required to amend the constitution ever occurring again?

We don't need A new constitution. We need two, three, or four for a partitioned America.
History is full of nations being forced to partition, and in Eastern Europe, it's happened fairly recently.
Can you actually imagine a continuing united America ever not being a tinderbox from here forward?
I can't.

I can't either. I think partitioning of some sort is inevitable.

Horse shit, MAtt.

Your side lost...and lost huge.

You just are not being allowed to accept that.

That's the way fascist organizations work.

Biden Does the Precise Opposite of Bringing Americans Together

"On the menu today: There’s no sugarcoating it — President Biden just unilaterally decided to make taxpayers pick up the at-minimum $300 billion bill for unpaid student loans, a move that nearly 60 percent of Americans think will make inflation worse. Even a former Obama administration official characterizes it as “pouring roughly half [a] trillion dollars of gasoline on the inflationary fire.” But what’s so particularly galling is that this comes from a president who couldn’t stop telling us how much he was determined to unite us and end our angry divisions.

President Unity Strikes Again

I’m getting awfully sick and tired of political leaders telling us how much they want to unite the country, and then jamming through their unpopular agenda items by any means necessary."

Are you going golfing? Weather looks good today.

No golf today. (I never golf on weekends.) Weather is perfect...the cloud cover is what we want. But Nancy and I are going into NYC to meet a friend for a drink and some conversation. Haven't gotten together since before Covid...looking forward to it. We'll meet at an outdoor place that juts out into the Hudson River on a pier in mid-town.

Headed to the asphalt jungle, are you? Be safe and have fun :)

Okay...so let me try this instead.

You are a fucking moron...and arguing with you is like arguing with a rock.

So ALL this brilliance you claim to possess.

And yet all you have is baseless bragging and ad hominem's.

Yup...your capabilities are just as I thought.

Bye now.
