Properties of fascism

corporatists dont like to accurately define fascism because they can never speak ill of a corporation as if corporations are all about your freedom and protecting your rights, and would never seek gain through abusing access to a government and its leaders.

they wouldn't DOOOOOOOOO that.

you people are infantile.

fascists want to keep fascisming.

a sense of overwhelming crisis beyond the reach of any traditional solutions;

the primacy of the group, toward which one has duties superior to every right, whether individual or universal, and the subordination of the individual

the belief that one’s group is a victim, a sentiment that justifies any action, without legal or moral limits, against its enemies, both internal and external;

dread of the group’s decline under the corrosive effects of individualistic liberalism, class conflict, and alien influences;

the need for closer integration of a purer community, by consent if possible, or by exclusionary violence if necessary;

the need for authority by natural leaders (always male), culminating in a national chief who alone is capable of incarnating the group’s destiny;

the superiority of the leader’s instincts over abstract and universal reason;

the beauty of violence and the efficacy of will, when they are devoted to the group’s success;

the right of the chosen people to dominate others without restraint from any kind of human or divine law, right being decided by the sole criterion of the group’s prowess within a Darwinian struggle.

Well, put. Very insightful.

How is that any different from socialism and the nationalization of big industries?

Either way, the Pols demand the Corps serve the State.
who said socialism and fascism were all the different?........fascists simply order industry to do what it wants......socialists order industries to do what they want but use government funds to help finance it.....communists just seize the industry and appoint their own people to manage it..........

it's not that different.

it's all fascism.

and the state serves the corps too.

customer acquisition and monopoly are valued by corporate leaders.

According to Marx, communism is the withering away of the State. Modern "communist" States are still in their Socialist stage.

IMO, Socialism means the inept Pols & bureaucrats run the industries.

I'm reminded of the East India company where the crown gave them a Charter that permitted them a monopoly as long as they made a profit. And a letter of marque that allowed them to capture foreign ships as long as the Crown got half the goods. Apparently, it also allowed them to capture foreign lands.

You can't have a Robber Baron without a politician getting the kickbacks.

Socialism is an economic system and Communism is a political one.

Every time you open your big, fat mouth you end up doing more damage to your own cause than if you had just shut the fuck up.
