More than two years after Dan Rather filed a $70-million lawsuit against CBS for breach of contract and fraud, a New York Supreme Court appellate division has tossed out his claim.

The ruling, handed down today, dismissed Rather’s claims that CBS News broke his contract and committed fraud by sidelining him in the wake of a controversial story he reported about President George W. Bush’s Vietnam-era service in the Texas Air Guard....

no more than any other liberal media....it is completely naive and should be downright dishonest to say fox is a liar but then not the other news....

all news is biased, should it be...no, but the news is given by people....do we really need to get into a pissing match about other news, cbs, cnn, msnbc...etc that have lied or made sensationalist stories only to proven wrong or false later....

I will say, again, I don't get my "news" from the networks, because they are mostly entertainment, anymore and not journalism, mostly commentary and not just the facts!

I was at the dentist and they always have Faux on TV, and today some pundit was ripping Valerie Jarrett a new one. She's just one of Obama's advisors but you'd think she was the devil incarnate from how they talked about her. I've never heard this kind of stuff in the network news I occasionally listen to.

Amen. It's hard to find balanced journalism anymore. Everything is about sensationalism and the sound bite.

I think they flame more than others, but I only turn it on once in a great while, mostly when hubby is home, he listens to all of them from time to time.
