Obama Olympic Failure

now if he could focus on more important issues like getting the up-tick re-instated.. But i doubt he even understands it. Hes become very impotent lately.

That is because Nancy took his balls and won't give them back. Michelle is currently trying to intervene. Hillary would have, but she is too busy negotiating the return of the body of a politicians husband that died 27k feet up on a climb. Got to keep those high priority negotiations on track.

Yup. And people wonder why much of the criticism isn't over important things. It's because his administrations seems to spend most of its political capital on things like this.

I hear his administrations next big negotiation will be an attempt to get the Dixie Chicks a better contract and subsidies to buy their tickets.

Obama is a proverbial Campaigning Whore. If he isn't stumping something, he feels impotent.

But if you look at how much money Bu$h wasted, during his 8 years of totaltarian government, this is just a drop in the huge Republican cash bucket.

Excuse me, I now have to go shower; because I feel so dirty.

If Bush had done this it would have been front page news with pictures of him smiling and waving alongside dead soldiers with headlines that sensationalized his "wanting nothing but a photo-op."

The unmitigated hypocrisy and fawning over this empty suit is absolute proof of the vapid idiocy of leftists. He's officially an Obamination.

We should have sent somebody the world loved and respected to sell America's case. Like Bush, Cheney, or Palin.

Chicago never had a chance to get the Olympics. Out in first round.. I dont know whats worse. Obama not knowing they were in last place, or Obama having no ability to move them out of last place.

Obama should have done what he said he was going to do.. out of iraq, reformed sec, etc.. instead hes got us in deeper in afghan, starting trouble with Iran, doing nothing to control SEC, and putting all his eggs in some sort of fantasy health care scheme. Hes a 1termer at this point. Big trouble for Dems on the 2010 election right now.

Easy to bitch from the left that things suck.. but actions speak louder then words when your in control.

I thought we did. Good job, Cypress!

You gotta feel bad for the Kool-Aid drinkers. I mean these people actually believe Barrack Hussein Obama can walk on friggin' water!

Olympics decision stuns Chicago crowd

By DEANNA BELLANDI, Associated Press Writer Deanna Bellandi, Associated Press Writer – 50 mins ago

CHICAGO – Thousands of people stood in bewildered silence in downtown Chicago on Friday after the International Olympic Committee surprised everyone by dumping the city from the race for 2016 Summer Olympics in the first round of voting.

The vote in Copenhagen was carried on huge television screens set up in the Daley Center to carry what many had hoped would be approval of Chicago as the host city. It had seemed so likely to many in a city still basking in the glow of hometown Sen. Barack Obama's election as president.

Instead, Chicago was bounced in the first round, bringing an audible gasp from the crowd. The elimination came so quickly — more than an hour before the scheduled final announcement — that people were still excitedly talking among themselves when IOC President Jacques Rogge appeared in the screens to announce: "The city of Chicago, having obtained the least number of votes, will not participate in the next round."

"I've never really had a disappointment like this," said Ken Rudd, a 33-year-old salesman from Evergreen Park. "This is one of the saddest things I've ever seen."

Katie Suitor, a 28-year-old social worker, was equally surprised, saying that she had already signed up to work as a volunteer for the games.

"I was looking forward to having the world come and see just how great Chicago is," she said.
