Yes true. When Dutch joined the Navy if you admitted you were gay you were thrown out. Only way you stayed in is if you hid the fact you were gay.

Weren't the gay customers ruled against almost every time?
One case was about the bakers doxxing the couple, and they received death threats. That was the reason for the extremely large award.

You have to really try to get bitten by one. They aren't aggressive unless they are threatened. Typically, someone crawling around under a building and accidentally touching one.

They don't seek out humans
 
The Supreme Court will hear a case next week about a graphic artist who does not want to design web sites for gay marriages. The CO law does not allow a person to refuse to sell a product it sells to the general public, but items which are "expressive" or artistic/creative give them more religious protection.
 
I would NEVER want my cake baked by someone who told me they objected to doing so. I would want someone who actually WANTED to bake my cake be the ones who did. Then again,...Im not an imbecile

And this artist is also trying to make this a legal case, when they could have denied service in a number of ways that weren't confrontational.

Sometimes I wonder if the customer is trying to make an issue in the same way the baker is.

But...in some areas there aren't a lot of options for a high end cake. I remember one case where the baker did jobs for the gay couple in the past, but refused service just because it was now for their wedding.

Yes, although that is too easy to catch. It is like a landlord who will not rent to blacks and they have a white couple apply for the same rental unit to see if they are accepted.

The law probably needs to be established so all gay couples do not find their baker "too busy."'

It seems ironic for a person to exercise their religious principles by having to lie.

Whereas that is true about getting caught if you are monitored, I would assume anything for a wedding is easy to refuse. There is typically a deadline that can be used as an excuse.

The irony is always present whenever there are legal cases based on 'religious dogma'. Hobby Lobby is free to deny access to contraception, but their retirement plans invest in the same companies that make contraception devices.

Bakers cite 'sin' as the reason for refusal of service, but they repeatedly work for divorced people, felons, unmarried couples, etc..
