I don't think there is anything wrong with refusing fisticuffs. I know that is not what I meant, and I doubt it is what BAC meant (but I cannot speak for him).

What I am ridiculing is the idea that you can strut and brag about not taking shit and fighting people, and then hide behind a gun. When you threaten to beat someone up for what they said, then when the opportunity comes to back up your words, you talk about using a gun, that is being a pussy.

When you try to instigate a fight and then refuse to do anything but use a gun, that is being a pussy.

I'm not trying to make you feel anything brother. I simply commented on what I think about grabbing your six-shooter because you feel threatened.

Also notice that I called SM a pussy, not you .. although I believe that grabbing a gun when you're threatened is an act of sheer pussydom.

Do you teach your children to grab a gun when they feel threatened? Is that what you tell your boys?

Do you walk around 24 hours a day with your gun strapped to your side just in case someone is mean to you?

And Winterborn is right .. there is nothing wrong with walking away from a fight or taking other measures to avoid one. Your mind is your greatest weapon.

PS just to spot the two gun nuts a few points. I got my ass kicked routinely in martial arts gyms and in college wrestling so it would be the first time if one of the John Waynes were to throw a beat down on me.

Your right as usual, fools like him make me embarrassed for white people in general. I know way to many supposedly educated upper middle class that won't/can't listen or learn about past and present oppressions/discrimination against blacks.
There are all fine with legacy admitances to Yale etc for rich white guys, or hiring practices at big time companies that bring kids of past rich white workers in regardless of thier true ability. Yet they have a brain anurism over affirmative action. Which could never come close to pay back in a 100 yrs.
