Defense contractors contribute way more money to political leaders than do rape victims. And if I've learned anything in this life, its that unless you elect the right people, money, wealth, and connections are going to be catered to in a way that rape and torture victims won't be

I wasted a few minutes trying to figure out your rant and wondering if responding to it was worth the effort....
Then I noticed the word "deadhead" in your user title....

That tells me quite a lot...mainly, that trying to educate you to the truth would be an exhaustive, and in the end, useless endeavor...

An amendment that would prevent the government from working with contractors who denied victims of assault the right to bring their case to court is in danger of being watered down or stripped entirely from a larger defense appropriations bill.

Multiple sources have told the Huffington Post that Sen. Dan Inouye, a longtime Democrat from Hawaii, is considering removing or altering the provision, which was offered by Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) and passed by the Senate several weeks ago.
