Interesting factoid:

Her father is a very kind man who owns a wholesale plywood company. I used to buy materials from them, along with two other companies that had warehouses in the same corporate park. Other companies sold plastic laminate ("Formica") as well as plywood/flakeboard, but he didn't. He once offered to grab my laminate from the neighboring company and drive it down with my wood delivery. This would assure him the wood sale, but it was an outlandish offer at the time.

One summer, Elise must have been home from college and was answering the phones. I put my order in, and the discussion somehow turned to politics. Her doing...not mine.

She went on about how important it was to make sure Bush gets re-elected. On and on and on and on.

I didn't cancel that order, but I've never done business with them again.

I guess she was always a closeted loon.

LOL. That's a very Red region in a Blue state. Although, they sell across the state. I'm 100 miles from them. They also go into Vt.. I'm sure it wasn't company policy to espouse far Right rhetoric
