San Francisco votes to allow lethal force police robots

Those that permit killer robots are more guilty than those that manufacture and deploy them.

Same goes for guns. Prosecute murderers at source.

Ms. Moon; Iran makes drones that are killing Ukrainian civilians. What does that make them?

One of the things about lethal force is that it is not always lethal. If done correctly, it can be less lethal.

LESS lethal???????!? Shooting someone is LESS lethal????????!? WTF???!?
Shooting someone with a rubber bullet, while not completely safe, is less lethal. This is not a new concept.

Pivot fallacy. You were not talking about rubber bullets! You were talking about the use of lethal force!

No, you don't get away with pivoting like this!

Try to bullshit the nanobots in your medication, Sybil.

Same goes for the killer police terminator robots.

You were not talking about rubber bullets!

That is just an example of less lethal force. I had to dumb it down for you.

You were talking about the use of lethal force!

So when I said "less lethal", I meant "less lethal." I use the words I intend to use.

Less lethal is not "non lethal" like they used to claim. There is a real danger in using this force, but it often saves everyone's life, including the perpetrator.

You weren't talking about rubber bullets or non-lethal force. You were talking about lethal force. You locked yourself in your own paradox. You are being irrational.

With killer robots. Do you worry about hearing clanking sounds outside your trailer home at night, Sybil?

rubber bullets or non-lethal force

Something people have realized recently is there is no such thing as non-lethal force. Rubber bullets are definitely deadly.

You were talking about lethal force.

All force can be lethal. Less lethal is less lethal. A simple example of that is a rubber bullet, but there are better technologies that have been developed, and will be developed. If you ban all lethal force, you are effectively banning all force. Police would have to just ask perpetrators to stop perpetrating their actions. Anything beyond that would be use of potentially lethal force.

Continuing to try to pivot away from your paradox isn't going to work. You are locked in paradox. You made it. Only you can clear it.
