Is America a Christian nation?

In other words, a group of gods. "A group" is singular.

The word is translated as "gods" in other verses.

fucking sad......you posted this three minutes after my comment....thank you giving it such deep thought......

it would be "in other words", a group of gods.......in the words of the Bible, as I have shown, it is a unique sentence with a plural noun and a singular verb which is not a group of gods.......there is no reason to use your "other words".......

The most popular religion in the U.S. is Christianity, comprising the majority of the population (73.7% of adults in 2016), with the majority of American Christians belonging to a Protestant denomination or a Protestant offshoot (such as Mormonism or the Jehovah's Witnesses.)

We are a nation with a predominance of people who are Christians.

It's what made America great until the non-Christians came to power.

Yes, and our forefather's religions that wrote our Constitution have all gone by the wayside centuries ago- Mostly Quakers, Puritans, pagans, and Angelics!

Why do you think that is Mr. Earl?

I don't have the lying pussy on ignore I just ignore the syphilitic piece of garbage after a while

Kudos on properly spellin' syphilitic, Yak.

As much bitching and whining as far Right wackadoodles do about me, it never ceases to amaze me how much they see me as a threat. More proof that ignorance and idiocy fears education and intelligence.

Why do you fear so much, Yak?

Don't think I haven't noticed your constant sexual flirting with me, Ms. Moon. Do you think this eggplant is circumsized or not?

Have you ever considered walking the walk more and less talking the talk, Ms. Moon?

59:23 He is Allah—there is no god except Him: the King, the Most Holy, the All-Perfect, the Source of Serenity, the Watcher ˹of all˺, the Almighty, the Supreme in Might, the Majestic. Glorified is Allah far above what they associate with Him ˹in worship˺!
Reported. This has gone on far enuff with you .

Little fatboy crybully reports an Eggplant but not a dick enlarging device posted dozens of times by his dear friend, the anti-American Jihadist named "Moon".

Stone, she ridiculed Jesus. Why aren't you, supposedly a Christian, more upset with her than my eggplant picture?

Is it because you have such a raging hatred of me that nothing else matters?

What the Americans objected to in Hobbes were the ways in which he drained the substance from the natural-law tradition. Reason was merely a tool that served human desires; ideas of what is good for human beings were completely subjective. There were no moral rules apart from the will of an overwhelmingly powerful sovereign who could lay down the law and keep the peace.

In contrast, Hamilton claimed: “Good and wise men in all ages” have taught that God had “created an eternal and immutable law, which is, indispensably, obligatory upon all mankind, prior to any human institution whatever.” The reason Hobbes believed such an “absurd and impious doctrine,” Hamilton concluded, is “that he disbelieved the existence of an intelligent superintending principle, who is the governor, and will be the final judge of the universe.”

I agree with Hobbes. Madison is wrong.

"Is America a Christian nation?" It is. And that is a good thing for all you lefties. It truly is the only thing and finding out if God is real or not. Think about that.

This board has a libertarian POV, so they've always allowed just about everything (not spelled out in the board rules).

I don't like any of it, personally. I do wish they'd mod it more proactively. We've had such overt misogyny, racism, conspiracy spreading, hate, personal attacks, et al. I mean, I see WAY more personal attacks on here than anyone trying to make an intelligent point, or debate anything.

Fatboy thinks only those he hates should be persecuted.

He wants those who agree with him to have their "Freeeeee-dummmmmm!"

Let's be honest; Stone isn't very bright but he's a huuuuuge cyberbully who wants me banned for kicking his ass all the time. LOL
