Is America a Christian nation?

What could be more in keeping with the Bible than a group beloved of God killing and taking other people's land? Isn't that what much of the Bible is after Exodus and before the books of the Prophets?

Sure- after all, the perpetrators have been editing the bible themselves for centuries.

History discloses Christianity to be just as blood-stained and dumbass as all the other hole-in-the-head ritualistic reality-dodgers.
Washington is saturated with theocrats- and the majority of those are beholden to the foreign theocracy of the Zionist mobsters. They're all creaming their profits from the religion-conditioned demos who are petrified of being accused of.....wait for it..................blasphemy. The Zionist mobsters have even got them believing that ' blasphemy ' and ' antisemitism ' are the same fucking thing.

Blasphemy. What intelligent civilization would even include the word in its dictionaries.

Any atheist outsider must look at religion-suffocated America and consider it to be the hell that Evangelists fear. Ironic or what ?

Your last sentence doesn't make sense to me, as our airwaves are LOADED with evangelical "christians" of various attitudes & avenues. Monetarily, they are in hog heaven.

I would say very much so, especially regarding the Old Testament. But just a point, from the Bible story's point of view, the Hebrews were the ones beaten and subjugated first, so there is a retaliatory situation going on there (assuming one takes everything in the book as sacrosanct).

Fair point.

"Many come in my name but they aren't mine"

So you cop to this NOT being a "Christian Nation"?

"Many come in my name but they aren't mine"!
I don't remember Jesus doing a lot of fund raising!

So that we're clear here: televangelist and/or "mega church" pastors/reverends/preachers are NOT "Christians"? Any type of "fund raising" by Catholic churches are not "Christian"?

And the United States of America is NOT a "Christian Nation"?

The only real Christians are filled with the Holy Spirit!
No America isn't a Christian Nation!

What the Americans objected to in Hobbes were the ways in which he drained the substance from the natural-law tradition. Reason was merely a tool that served human desires; ideas of what is good for human beings were completely subjective. There were no moral rules apart from the will of an overwhelmingly powerful sovereign who could lay down the law and keep the peace.

In contrast, Hamilton claimed: “Good and wise men in all ages” have taught that God had “created an eternal and immutable law, which is, indispensably, obligatory upon all mankind, prior to any human institution whatever.” The reason Hobbes believed such an “absurd and impious doctrine,” Hamilton concluded, is “that he disbelieved the existence of an intelligent superintending principle, who is the governor, and will be the final judge of the universe.”

I agree with Hobbes. Madison is wrong.

Is America a Christian nation?

No. What are you, retarded?
