The Constitution makes it illegal from day one for the Country to be a "Christian Nation" even if the founders were all Christians

If the Constitution were truly and mercifully dead, conservatives like yourself wouldn't be so absurdly over-represented in our government.
The great cultural centers of the nation would run most things, and we'd be a far more modern and civilized nation.

You revel in the failures of the earlier versions of ourselves, and it's probably or at least possibly based on various genres of bigotry with which you're afflicted.
I don't pretend to know for sure, but that's my take, anyway, and I feel confident that it's an informed guess.

There is reason for striving for unattainable utopia, and it was best explained, of all sources, by a mere football coach.

Vince Lombardy explained to us that there was only ONE way to achieve excellence,
and that way was to relentlessly, almost maniacally, strive for unattainable perfection.

Excellence, unlike perfection, is attainable, but only once we accept this premise.
I'm no huge fan of Middle America, for the most part, but it worked for Lombardi's Packers--
maybe because he was a smart, New York Italian gentleman.

I'm progressive, liberal, but not remotely woke. I don't believe in prioritizing ceilings, but rather believe that we should have the floors in very good position first, both economically and architecturally speaking.

Conservatives believe in freedom from social responsibility.
That is not a principle with which iIagree.
Our fate was to be born into a social species, not a solitary one, and being the grump recluse that I am, I have to accept that anyway.

Free minds and free speech are fine, but they don't absolve people of their social responsibilities.
If one is determined to be an obstacle to domestic order in any truly destructive way,
one must either look for any remaining wilderness in which to live, an admittedly difficult task in an overpopulated world,
or one must be excised like a malignant tumor., but as humanely as possible.
That's how our species has evolved, and those in conflict with the results of evolution are also in conflict with those who are not--but as a minority, like Libertarians.

Free Minds/Free Speech by definition means that you are not allowed to hurt the people who disagree with you in order to get your way. That is tyranny. What you are talking about is the WOKE program to rub out all dissidents.
