Unlike Obama, Bush did not campaign for his party's candidate in this election so I doubt it.

I would be very surprised if Christie reduces government by a hair. He has no plan to do so; like other Republican governor's in the past, he will not.

From what I've read he didn't talk a whole lot about his plans. It's like he got an early lead and then decided to say nothing in hopes of not losing the lead. Well, this time I guess it worked to get him in office but now is he going to try and do things he never really talked about on the campaign trail? How's that going to go over?
It is that for sure! The conservative ideal of shrinking government and lowering taxes, especially on business to create jobs, was the message in both NJ and Virginia that won the day...I hope we can stay on message in 2010!

thats a bizarre leap of logic....
bush didn't campaign for anyone....obama heavily campaigned and said his goals for the country depend on this win or at least this win is a key component to accomplish his goals, he said something to that effect....
it was a huge and embarrassing loss for obama, given his extensive campaigning, even flying down there two days before the election....
