Most of the army guys I worked with were there to collect a paycheck and do as little work as they could get away with. Very few could make a living in the private sector. In fact, quite a few of the army regulars for whom I did their work, had already failed in private practice .

I'll admit , from what little I saw of army personnel in Fort Riley, KS, they were better there. Something seems to happen to a lot of people once they are away from their cozy environment and culture. Especially the wives of soldiers.
