I can remember a similar thing happening in the election of a student union leader many years ago. Then it was kids finding out what could and couldn't be done to push through a particular line of policy. It was great fun and we won.

It doesnt matter whether they are left or right, republican or democrat these people should be heavily censured by the electorate and for arseholes like those here to 'lmao' for example and say 'well you did it too', demonstrates just how bloody stupid and immature the right wing of America really is.

You sir must not pay much attention to American politics (or view them through partisan lenses yourself) if you think this is a right-wing disease only.
The "they do/did it too" defense has a long and glorious history in the states and is not monopolized (sp) by any one political group or faction.
True, you're very fortunate that you don't have them. Their appeal is to a low common denominator that seems to believe all the 12 year old level garbage thrown their way. The twinkle toed bozo you saw making the most noise is from a district in Georgia where the above mentioned 12 year old level garbage might be a bit difficult to comprehend.

They were apparently abusing some parliamentary procedure to shut down debate. The obvious solution would have been to immediately call a vote to shut off all Republican speaking/voting rights for the next two or three years as punishment, and then to amend the rule. But the Democrats are too much pussies to do that and will probably let the Republicans walk roughshod over them for the next three years.

I am aware that many parts of the world look at things differently than conservatives......in fact, most of what we do as conservatives is intended to make sure the US doesn't START looking at things the same way as some parts of the world.....because those parts of the world are really fucked up.....look at Europe, for example.....Europe had reached the point where they had to join together as the EU just so people wouldn't forget they were around......I mean, when was the last time that anyone outside of Portugaul, for example, used a sentence employing the word "Portugaul" that didn't also employ the words 'used to be'?........or Austria....wait, is there still an Austria?....I need a map.....

actually, it appears the republicans were acting properly and it was the dems, especially the chair, who were acting improperly by not allowing republicans rebuttal time....the dems were trying to stifle debate by using a unanimous consent requests without giving the repubs rebuttal time....the chair also disallowed female republicans unanimous consent requests to discuss this bill....
amazing what you learn when you don't cherry pick what happened....you have no right to ever say anything about fox news again, this was pure propoganda that lacked basic facts to tell a truthful picture
and it is absolute nonsense to claim dems never pulled stuff like this when the repubs were in power a few years ago....
