Train Derailment causing CHERNOBYL in ohio. Pedo Joe Biden does nothing.

Thousands of americans being poisoned as i type and our Commander in Chief Biden is doing his job, including monitoring the situation as well as potential foreign surveillance balloons in the sky.!!

Good for President Biden!!!!

Thankfully, the Ohio authorities are handling that derailment crisis and if need be, the Federal government, under President Biden's direction, will lend all necessary assistance.

Thank you for pointing that out, ignorant jackass!!!!

Just remember, this is the EPA that did this, deliberately. The "experts" on environmental disasters created an environmental disaster because it was supposedly the best way to deal with derailed tank cars full of nasty chemicals...

But, it's okay... 71% of the people in that county in Ohio voted for Trump...

Both parties are responsible for doing nothing. The railroad industry is a huge donor to both parties. Obama instituted regulations, twump rolled them back, then Biden did nothing.

Biden has an extraordinarily full plate as it is.

How much can you expect out of the man, especially knowing the opposition he'd face even if he did try to push something through?

Sometimes people in positions of authority have to prioritize.

Spend their time on things they can accomplish and not waste it on things they know are losing battles.

I agree both parties are worthless in this, but the immediate reason it's a disaster is the EPA and NTSB screwed the pooch and set the fire. More regulations won't fix stupid. The alphabet government agencies have no lock on the 'best and brightest.' Often their "experts" are anything but that.

It’s great to see the Republican base want this corporation that caused this to pay massively for the mess they created

The corporation that owned this crap needs to pay big time huh

One party did for something to prevent it

The other party removed the regulations

You’re right, I wonder if that will change? A lot of spills or fires go unreported, nationally, but this has stayed in the headlines, so they can’t ignore it.

Personally, I'd rather see those federal employees that made the decision to burn the chemicals fired with prejudice and made to personally pay for their poor decision making. They created this mess, they should have to pay for it. But what will happen is they will wash there hands of the whole thing and then go on to make new stupid decisions. I wouldn't be at all surprised if some of the decision makers on this fiasco were the same ones responsible for bad decisions at the Gold King mine disaster.

The politicians will do the minimum they have to. The government agencies involved will hide behind various laws that shield them from taking responsibility even as it is theirs to take. The corporation will at most pay out some damages and at worst go bankrupt and be absorbed by another rail corporation and go on, business as usual.

Time to make the corporations who created this mess buy the people involved a new town and then clean the mess for a few decades until it’s finished
