The Obama Justice Department’s Secret Blogging Team… Is it Illegal?

Obama’s Attorney General, Eric Holder, has apparently hired a cadre of left-wing, Democrat campaign bloggers to troll through the Internet looking for news stories and blog posts that denigrate the Obama agenda. After such websites are found it is the job of these secret lefty bloggers to leave comments that come to the support of Obamaism in the comments sections. It seems that Eric Holder has created his own little propaganda unit in a valiant effort to become the Bloggi Riefenstahl of the Obama era.

If indeed this is what DOJ media outreach does it would most certainly qualify as “astroturfing.” Astroturfing is the action of using fake commenters and multiple screen names on all sorts of sites to push a similar opinion to create the appearance of a grass roots movement and make it seem as if there are all sorts of individuals naturally supporting a product or political movement.

I wonder where we can find out that Holder actually, not "apparently", hired cadres, and where Holder created, not "seems to have created", a propaganda unit....?

I doubt that Canada Free Press is the most reliable source.

So, are you saying that if Holder actually has done what they say he apparently has, then it would be a bad idea and a misuse of power, right?

The article is allegation and supposition. You're the guy whining through several posts that you prefer accuracy. Save the criticism for real information, not another RW hatchet job.

My knee-jerk reaction is to dismiss any article that relies on words like "allegedly", "apparently", "it seems" etc. That's a pretty good sign that somebody who's not in full possession of facts is trying to stir spit.

Considering the absolute BS spouted by not only regular bloggers but those in Congress and Ms. Palin regarding such things as the "death panels" when discussing the health care plan is it any wonder the White House is involved in trying to get the truth out there.

A little tip for you...

The media is almost always going to use those qualifying words. They do so until convictions. It is to avoid lawsuits.

A question is not "putting words in your mouth", it is a plea for information.

It was even a closed question, not a difficult one. If you don't think it would be bad if Holder had done what they say he "apparently" did then a simple "no" would do, conversely if you think it would be bad and an abuse of powers a "yes" would do fine.

If you feel the need to flesh that out further after you actually answer the question that would also be very nice. Thanks in advance.

You obviously missed the word "if" and then the inclusion of the question mark at the end.

Now that this has been simplified enough for even you to understand, would you care to answer him; or are you going to be so "party line" that your mouth just won't let the words escape from your lips??

IF they are doing this, someone, Holder will do, should be fired. This is the job of the DNC NOT the DOJ.

And as a friendly reminder, I VOTED for Holder's boss, so I am not some "knee jerk reactionary".

Fixed. Given that this was originally "reported" over a month ago on some shitty blog nobody ever heard of and we haven't heard peep about it since, I think it is a safe bet that the blogger (and Canadian Free Press) is completely full of shit.

Then again, if the blogger fucks little kittens in their ears and eats mangy dog ass he should go to jail.
