You're correct! Transgender support isn't "woke," it's insane. Coddling and affirming a group with a near 50% suicide rate that wants to undergo genital mutilation and cosmetic surgery to pretend to be what they're not is a sure sign of serious mental illness and needs proper medical attention and help, not encouragement.

If people want to “immerse themselves in fiction” (like Trumppers do) that’s their business. I’m a live and let live person, that’s their business.
I support people being whatever makes them happy in this life and is something so simple as considering yourself a different gender is what works for a person, I support it. It doesn’t harm anyone and it’s really none of my business.

What a good point. You've probably noticed that RWers tend to see everything as simple and black-and-white. Nuances, and anything that is different, puzzle and terrify them. It's considered bigotry these days to sneer at gay people, but thankfully for their self-esteem there's always those icky trans ppl to look down on. lol
