Transgender support isn't "woke"

Cant read the link telling me to subscribe.

I agree people should behave as stupidly as they want the problem is those same people don't want to deal with the consequences not their stupidity. That's the shit I cant behind.

If you are really agreeing, then why do you support laws restricting the rights of trannies?

FWIW, I'm fully supportive of laws protecting minors and against laws restricting adults for victimless actions. Yes, even this idiot:

French ‘black alien’ reportedly gets fingers sliced off to create claw
A 33-year-old Frenchman who has transformed his body in a bid to become a “black alien” has now reportedly gotten two fingers chopped off his left hand to form a freakish claw.

Anthony Loffredo’s apparent surgery is the latest in a series of procedures the wannabe extraterrestrial has undergone, including getting his nose and upper lip cut off, his tongue split and his entire body – including his eyeballs – covered in tattoos.

But despite the shocking alterations, the oddball mutilation aficionado said he has only achieved 34 percent of his goal in turning into an alien, The US Sun reported.

Loffredo, who posts about his increasingly disturbing looks on Instagram under an account called the Black Alien Project, posted new images to document his grotesque surgery.

It's respect for freedom & individuality. It's opposing discrimination, hate and intolerance.

Transgenders exist. No amount of hate & denial changes that. They deserve as much respect and as many rights as every American.

I mean, ultimately - what's it to ya?

So how long u been a Tranny

Nobody, including transgendered people, should be denied rights that they didn't forfeit with criminal activity.

The last obviously transgendered person with whom I actually interacted, however, was a six foot tall black "broad" who sold me a pair of suspenders in Macy's in Manhattan
when I forgot to pack mine. She [I guess] sold suspenders as well as any salesperson who's sold me suspenders, so I couldn't find a problem there.
Maybe if I were looking for a belt, things could have been different--I just don't know.

I don't run into many,

I don't have any understanding of how anyone comes into conflict with their birth-assigned gender,

I don't have any granddaughters playing field hockey with former boys,

so I find it almost incredible how it becomes such a popular topic of conversation.

Even as a spectacularly unwoke person, I can't find a reason to lose sleep over the transgendered community.

Well I'm not sure what "tranny" rights are. We either have rights as citizens or we dont. Tranny, gay women's rights are all created terms with no real meaning in my opinion. People have rights not groups. So I don't oppose rights but I do oppose group rights.

What if you did have granddaughters playing field hockey with boys? And using the same locker room? What if you had a granddaughter who lost a scholarship or a medal because a male took the spot? And was changing next to her in the locker room... no one is losing sleep but the world shouldn't be turned upside down ...At all... so suspenders just don't swim on the wrong team;)

Yak, now I have a dilemma; are you really that stupid or are you simply pushing a lie.

There's a difference between "rights of trannies" and "tranny rights". Sane, intelligent and educated people can see the difference. Can you?

When laws restrict the rights of some citizens and not others, it's a violation of the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause.

If by "group rights" you mean special rights for special people, I agree. Corporate welfare is a special group. Shouldn't all Americans, corporations included, pay the same percentage of taxes? I favor having a bottom line to protect the 47M Americans living in poverty, but other than that, I favor a flat tax. The numbers I've seen is 20% to pay off our debts both annually and the national debt.

I'm only as stupid as you. This is what comes trying to be nice to a retarded donkey fucker like you .

"Gender affirming care " is a retarded donkey fuckers creation like trans-woman, previously known as a man

A tranny can do what everyone else does try just don't want to

Translation: Fuck you, Dutch, for catching me lying...again.

Thanks for clearing that up, Yak. You aren't stupid, just a liar. :)

I have no idea what gender-affirming care is nor do I give a shit. If it means using my tax dollars to give Americans better mental health care, I support it. If it means free liposuction and sex change operations, I'd only support it in cases of severe need.

We have a trans family member, as well as a handful of trans friends that I met either through school or chance encounters. They have all experienced bigotry and discrimination directed at them by cis gender ppl. Two are in their 40s now and have walked their own way for decades, so this is not just a passing teenage fad or "confusion" thing. They're just people trying to get through life like the rest of us. Why they should be hated -- because they're not assholes or jerks or bigots -- is beyond my ken.

What if you minded your own business?

Sports = winners and losers. A better person than you would teach their athlete child that there will always be athletes better, and worse, than you. The only thing that matters is how YOU play.

But I don't have grandchildren, TOP, and I spend enough time dealing with the problems that I actually have.

The getting dressed part doesn't bother me at all. Do kids have any modesty at all today?
I thought that that ended in the 60s during my own youth.

As for the rest, I suppose it could be a problem, but to this point, it isn't my problem.
Perhaps empathy isn't my strongest virtue...I don't know.

And on a almost totally unrelated note, I don't like the academia / athletics relationship anyway.
I hated school jock culture so much back in my youth that I eschewed the school team sports and turned to boxing instead.
I invited plenty of football players to drop by the gym, but for whatever reason, none of them came.
They probably feared the neighborhood more than me, in all honesty.

10% Rule applies. I, along with others, have experienced CIS gender discrimination on JPP. Sure, 10% of 90% of the population is a larger number than 10% of the population, but right is right and wrong is wrong.

Assholes exist and, I expect, will be around for as long as anyone on this forum is alive. No amount of legislation will stop stupid people from being stupid.

It is psychological therapy as well as, eventually, hormonal therapy, and possible surgery. IMO if a teenager feels that he/she is the wrong gender, psychological care should be instituted. Any physiological therapy, like hormone tx, IMO should wait till the teen is legally able to decide (and pay for) that, age 18 or up. If they prefer to dress as the gender they feel comfortable with, let 'em. If it were my child I would definitely support them while warning them that bullying and abuse are strong possibilities. If their school didn't have a gender-neutral bathroom, I would suggest using the appropriate one for their birth sex, and always go in with a buddy or a sympathetic staff member to avoid problems.

Well, for starters, you're talking to an elderly person who doesn't know what "cis gender ppl" are, I'm afraid.
Your "ken" is something that I hesitate to ask about as well.

In any case, for whatever it's worth, I certainly wouldn't hate a person for being transgendered.
I might not understand him/her, but why would I hate him/her?
There are far, far too many people that I hate with cause, sad to say.
It may be a "Sicilian thing' as Diane Keaton called it in Godfather II..

Cis-gender = straight or not trans

The rest of your post is just sensible. We're all gonna encounter ppl we don't like. Non-bigots choose to dislike people who are assholes and jerks no matter what their other characteristics are. Bigots focus on the race, color, creed, gender, nationality, etc.

Kids do have modesty these days;)They prefer to have their own locker room... I'm still a coach so obviously this is important to me but I respect your opinion and understand.. thanks for taking the time to respond...as always, I appreciate and respect your opinion...

You're correct! Transgender support isn't "woke," it's insane. Coddling and affirming a group with a near 50% suicide rate that wants to undergo genital mutilation and cosmetic surgery to pretend to be what they're not is a sure sign of serious mental illness and needs proper medical attention and help, not encouragement.

Did you ever find the 100's of articles you mentioned to back that up?

Heaven fucking forfend that you might actually learn something, that would be too much to ask.

Your responses are consistent: when you're asked to back up an opinion, you either cut & paste, or roll out the usual "I'd explain it, but you're too dumb to understand" (or some variation of that).
