Is a drag show free speech.

You just answered your own question... it's not appropriate ...or necessary...for a school activity... unless you can answer the question I asked oroginally...what value would it be?

So if something is not necessary for school activity its not appropriate? Wow, I can think of a lot of school stuff that is not necessary like maybe Football.

That's Travis' opinion, the fact that it is against the law in Texas is not an opinion.

Travis is lamenting the fact that the far left loons think it is within acceptable standards. Good grief.

Cease with the intentional obtuseness...or perhaps it is not intentional.

It does not violate the law if it is within acceptable standards. I would add that the law is clearly unconstitutional.

It is the law in Texas and it has not been challenged successfully.

You do believe in the law, right, ambulance chaser?

Why was this "drag show" inappropriate for children?
What was the value? This field trip was during school hours... what did they learn from this experience? They did learn that the permission slip did not properly represent the activity..;) I wonder how the parents found out that the drag show was included ?

Football is after school...pep assembies promote school pride.... and of course those are in the building... what other school stuff isn't necessary?

I think they learned that not everyone is an uptight Karen, and that there is more than one way to live. They learned that this is a broader world than their little small minded towns and families.

The school did not properly represent the field trip...and they got caught... end of story...

Have an adult read this to you:

"“Chapter 43 of the Texas Penal Code criminalizes the presentation of drag shows to minors."

I know someone claimed it, that does not make it true. Look at the code, it does not criminalize drag shows for minors.

You are becoming boring, ambulance chaser.

Who is that quoting? Why are you so dumb to believe that simply because someone said that it means it is true?
