I am going to call bullshit on Forbes....

based simply on the fact that Minnesota and Wisconsin are in the top 12. No friggin way. I lived in WI for 10 years. You have to play 'Where's Waldo' type games to find the skinny person up there. The problem is, you can't ever see around the brat/beer bellies to find them.

The other thing...

Not a chance there are five states ahead of CO on the obesity... especially not MA.

I would like to see how Forbes compiled their data... that said, the south does need to learn how to cook without frying everything. The obesity rates down there are atrocious.

Colorado has been the skinniest state for over a decade, since I've been watching that kind of stuff.
