I sense that some day in the not to distant future more Americans will tire of having their children gunned down in schools so you lot can have your hobby. At that point you'll WISH you guys had been forward thinking and tried to actually DO SOMETHING that might feel like being "human" or "decent" about the issue.
But for the meantime you guys just act like there's no responsibility to owning a gun. Nothing you owe to the rest of the world for your hobby. And in the meantime your hobby will make available guns in huge numbers for people to do bad things with.
Enjoy it while you can. Because at 129 mass shootings in less than 90 days we are quickly heading to a reality YOU WON'T LIKE.

My guns (in my hands) have never shot anyone, never been pointed at anyone. Guns are a hobby I've enjoyed since I was a kid, with no accident of any kind. Why must I be held accountable for those who misuse them? Why is it my responsibility to look after the mentally ill?
I drive a car you most certainly would kill yourself in...in a matter of minutes. That said, I pay property and school taxes. When you get to that point in life, you'll say you pay more than your share too.

Good for you. My car has never run over anyone, but I still pay insurance for the pleasure of driving. And I pay insurance to cover UNINSURED MOTORISTS. Grow up. Hobbies have costs.

Because your hobby puts guns out on the market in vast quantities. Some of which are stolen but some of which are legally bought by the mentally ill. Since criminals and the mentally ill cannot be expected to pay for their hobby of crime or mental illness, it falls to YOU the folks who ensure a steady supply of guns to criminals and mentally ill people.
I already do. I don't have kids in school (never had any kids) yet my wife and I pay school taxes. I want MY money back. Oh, I can't get it? I guess I'll pitch a fit like you guys do whenever anyone suggests you pay even a pittance for your death hobby.
