There was no insurrection. There was only criminal tyranny on the part of the Congress and other Democrats who used their fear of losing power as license to shoot to kill.

The American people made it clear that they reelected Trump, who had a commanding lead when the polls closed, but the American people were to be denied by Democrat criminals (with the aid of abetting TDS-stricken Republicans) who stole the election right in front of the watching eyes of the American public who knew the whole time what was going on but who could do nothing about it. Of course when the American people tried to peacefully protest, the tyrannical government declared it an "insurrection" and ordered the firing of live rounds.

The US has not recovered. These are very dark days.

That was the whole point of getting the wall started. Border-crossers can't walk through it. Until the wall is completed, illegal border-crossers have to attempt to go around it, amassing themselves at fewer and fewer points that need to be watched by border patrol, who then have a much easier time rounding up those who make the attempt.

Kudos to Trump. Increased apprehensions, a lasting legacy.

If you watched that election or any other one in the past, you would have heard them talk about how big city votes and mail-ins come in later. Many states have rules that say Mail in, regardless of when they come in, cannot be counted until the polls close. That is a huge pile and it simply takes time. That was explained clearly to people on all stations. Therefore big city votes, which lean way Dem come in later. Were you in a drunken stupor when the election was going on?
I have worked in elections and that is how it works. I have seen many times when knowing that the Dem vote comes in later, the polls predicted the results on that
The votes are always checked and our vote has minuscule bad votes.

It would be courteous if you would acknowledge my previous point before pivoting as you did.

Mexico certainly would be paying for the wall if the US would finish building it. Trump was a negotiating genius; he built the cost of the wall and of its maintenance and of most of the personnel posted at the wall ... into the USMCA. However, now that the wall construction is on hold, the US government is still receiving that money, but the money is now being wasted on government efforts to fortify its tyranny. The money is being forced on other federal agencies that didn't even request it and that are being told "just spend it."

I didn't acknowledge your previous point because it completely diverted from my post. You said the increased number of immigrants detained under Trump was a positive since it meant more were being caught.

Yet, when I said it has increased to record highs under Biden you avoided that point and mentioned the wall. The wall was being built with funds Trump diverted from military programs. Mexico was not paying for it--we were.

It was diverted from planned building projects on bases. The amount of the funds was not the issue, it was that it was from congressionally appropriated funds and Mexico paid no part of it. I don't think any rational person ever believed Mexico was paying for the wall.

Read the Constitution. The President makes those decisions. He gets to change plans. All Executive power is vested in the President. Any change of plans is called "a change of plans." The President does not have to "divert" funding; he reprograms it as he sees fit.
