Part of many products usage is the appearance that product presents. Many people buy a particular brand or model of car because they see that brand as a symbol of who they are, as but one example. Obviously, for some people Bud Light connotates a status symbol for them.

My kids are educated in school. The use of the word "indoctrination" is just, well, pathetic. I guess they are being indoctrinated to think that Nathaniel Hawthorne wrote The House of the Seven Gables and it's important to learn shapes and thanks to Newton we know what gravity is

I wonder how many leftists would run to their safe spaces if a kid said in school, "Boys have penises and girls don't." We know the kid would get "re-educated" and or suspended and child protective services would be called.
